The Hills are Alive with the Sound of Construction

It’s time to get excited, because construction of Stages 1 and 2 has commenced at Riverhills and has been progressing well. Preliminary earthworks began late March on stages 1 and 2 at Riverhills. Seven excavators have been hard at work, preparing the land for vital infrastructure and lot levels. Already they have made great progress.
We could only commence this phase after council approved the engineering designs and other requisite documentation, and granted our permits.
While preparing the ground is a momentous occasion, there are still several stages of construction to be completed before residents can start building their dream homes.
Next will come the essential infrastructure every Riverhills resident must have: sewerage, drainage, water and gas mains. Then we can start laying roads.
Trenches must be dug for electrical and telecommunications cabling and wiring, to deliver power, phone and internet to every Riverhills home. Then, when the footpaths and nature strips have been laid and the roads completed, final documentation will be submitted to council. Council will inspect the site and provide a Statement of Compliance.
The last step of the process is the most exciting: we register individual lots at the Titles Office with your block earmarked for settlement. Then it’s ready for you to build your home!
