It’s school holiday time once again and there are quite a few activities happening around Wollert to keep the kids entertained. For any lucky parents getting some time off over the Easter long weekend, these events will be fun for you too!

Brunch with the Easter Bunny

The Easter Bunny is pretty busy this time of year, but he still has time for a little mid-morning treat with the kids! From 10am until 11:30am everyone’s favourite rabbit will he hopping around Central South Morang, handing out Easter eggs and hot cross buns. Kids can enjoy a little story time with the Easter Bunny and friends while enjoying their delicious brunch. And the fun doesn’t stop there! They’ll also get some bunny ears of their very own to take home and decorate. There will also be plenty of opportunities for parents to take adorable photos. Be sure to RSVP to the event to ensure there are enough yummy treats to go around!

Nature Play & Cubby Town Festival

• Kids aged 1 – 12 years

Kids will love getting a little messy at this hands-on school holiday event. Guided by nature play experts from Eco Explorers Australia, children will enjoy a range of activities including nature detective and scavenger hunt walks, art and craft tent and cubby town. The idea is to get your hands dirty at this event, which shouldn’t be a problem thanks to a fantastically messy mud play area!

Held at Laurimar Creek Conservation Reserve, this family-friendly day out is set in a truly picturesque location. Set amongst river gums, wetlands and native flora, there will be lots for little ones to explore! Bring along a picnic and immerse yourself in this beautiful natural setting.

Art in the Park

Kids and adults alike can embrace their inner Picasso at this arty afternoon. The folks at Plenty Valley Arts will be running this interactive art workshop, helping everyone to create their very own masterpiece. Art in the Park will be an amazing (and secretly educational day), held at the beautiful Hawkstowe Picnic Area in South Morang.
