The City of Whittlesea is giving residents even greater reason to support their local businesses, with a new buy local incentive campaign just announced! The program offers 25 per cent back on eligible purchases across the City of Whittlesea, designed to help give back to the community and support traders as they get back on their feet.

From 1 June customers can claim 25 per cent back on eligible transactions when they spend at least $50 at a City of Whittlesea business. Each customer will be able to claim up to $100 through the incentives program.

The $150,000 Council initiative is part of the new ‘It’s All Here’ campaign – created to support local jobs, and tourism and promote a strong local economy. It’s hoped this campaign, alongside the cashback program, will inspire the community to think local first and explore all the unique and amazing businesses that call Whittlesea home – of which there are approximately 18,000! This is particularly important after the tough circumstances of the last couple of years.

The 25 per cent rebates will be available on a first-come, first-served basis until funds are exhausted. And customers aren’t just limited to hospitality venues either. local businesses and enterprises across the City of Whittlesea are eligible to be included in the rebate program.
